EastEnders: Christmas 2016 plans are thrown into chaos!

It doesn't look like the Square will be looking very festive this year...

The Walford regulars will be left upset in next week’s EastEnders when the local council throws their Christmas plans into disarray.

Scenes to be shown on Monday 14 November will see the residents learn that the council won’t be providing a Christmas tree again this year – a decision that will leave the Square looking decidedly unfestive.

Last year, Ian memorably went into partnership with Mick in order to give the neighbourhood a Christmassy feel. Remembering this, Kathy will now be seen opting to ask Ian to sponsor a tree again – but what reaction will she get?

And there’s also drama surrounding the local Christmas production: next Tuesday’s episode sees rehearsals for the Walford Players Christmas get underway, only for Kathy and Geraldine to continue to bicker as they disagree over the script.

So will everyone end up pulling together by the 25th of December? Or is this to be a bleak Christmas for one and all?
