EastEnders: Jordan Johnson is attacked by thugs following his return to Walford

Actor Joivan Wade makes his debut on the BBC1 soap next week

Jordan Johnson’s murky past will return to haunt him next week when – following his surprise comeback to the Square – he’s set upon by a gang of thugs.

Viewers know already that Jordan (Joivan Wade) has run foul of the law in recent months with an off-screen arrest leaving Denise in little doubt about the trouble he was in.

But when he shows up out of the blue next Monday, Denise is quick to try and get to the bottom of what’s going on. But the conversation comes to a sudden halt when Patrick orders Jordan to leave, little knowing that a gang is lying in wait for him.

Scenes to be broadcast on Thursday 10 February see the police arrive to tell Denise that Jordan was taken to hospital but then discharged himself. After tracking him down, Denise is shocked to find him badly beaten. But will he end up living back with the Fox clan as a result of the attack?

Said a show insider of the upcoming drama: “Denise can still see the good in her stepson but viewers will be left fearing that volatile Jordan takes very much after his father.

“As Denise makes inroads with Jordan, viewers will all fear that she’s putting herself, her family and the entire Square in danger.”
