Volatile Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard) is to jeopardise his future in the armed forces when he lets his temper get the better of him.
Lee, who viewers know to be suffering with depression, will punch his old boss Harry to the ground – an attack that ends up being witnessed by both Sergeant Major Wallace and his CO.
The showdown comes after Harry tries to charm Whitney, who angers him by bringing up an issue from Harry and Lee’s past. When Harry then confronts Lee and gives him a stern warning, Lee ends up hitting Harry.
Lee, whose behaviour is already causing concern after failing to turn up for work, looks set to be in further trouble when he’s caught mid-assault by his bosses.
Speaking back in June about Lee’s mental health troubles, actor Danny-Boy Hatchard commented: “This is not a subject that only a handful of people can relate to. It’s something that at some point most people in their lives will experience on different levels.”
