Jennifer Aniston begins filming Cake in Los Angeles

The Friends actress got a make-under and spent the day in the cemetery for her new movie, also starring Sam Worthington and Anna Kendrick

In order to play the role of a woman in a chronic pain support group, in her new indie movie Cake, Jennifer Aniston sported a baggy T-shirt, loose trousers and a big grey cardie in LA this week.


Up in the Air actress Anna Kendrick and Avatar actor Sam Worthington will also join the cast of Cake. Kendrick will play a woman named Nina who commits suicide, and Aniston’s character Claire becomes fascinated with her as she deals with her own tragedy. Sam Worthington plays Nina’s husband in the movie.

Director Daniel Barnz will head up Cake, the first title of five movies financed by After Dark Films and Chinese TV producers Shenghua Entertainment. Jennifer Aniston will be the executive producer of the movie.

Cake will be released in 2015.
