Hilton London Kensington – hotel review

A luxurious base from which to explore West London with all of Hilton’s trademark frills

Just a stone’s throw from Westfield, one of the largest shopping centres in Europe and the capital’s famous Portobello market, this well presented Hilton offers a great location from which to explore some of the leafier and more relaxed areas of West London.

The rooms are, as you would expect from Hilton, decorated with attention to detail and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant business or pleasure stay. There’s plenty of space around the comfortable bed to relax and enjoy the first rate facilities, which include a large flat screen television, complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, hot drinks facilities and mini-bar.

Integral to each room is a spacious bathroom with shower, bath and grooming facilities – with a great selection of toiletries provided.

No matter what your requirements, a friendly and attentive staff are on call 24 hours a day to assist you with making the most of the hotel facilities – which include a gym (open all night if you really want to get fit!), steam room and sauna – or to explore the neighbouring areas of London.

The hotel has bespoke business facilities for those who are working as well as a number of large well appointed function rooms for guests looking to celebrate a special occasion in the capital.

Food and drink:

Guests in an executive room (or choosing to upgrade) enjoy access to the executive lounge where you can enjoy breakfast, or complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the evening in a quiet relaxed environment with comfortable chairs and office facilities if required.

The main West Eleven restaurant offers a fantastic breakfast service that includes a fantastic selection of hot and cold food.  At lunchtime and in the evenings the restaurant offers a great choice of contemporary English classics from its extensive menu, accompanied by a fine wine list.

Avenue Bar & Lounge offers a quiet and secluded getaway for those wishing to enjoy a drink before and after dinner – and is open 24 hours a day to guests.
