A revival of the classic film series, in which a group of schoolgirls plot to save their school from closure. Featuring Colin Firth, Rupert Everett and Russell Brand.

The Shawshank Redemption – 9.00pm, ITV2

The tale of a convicted murderer’s struggle to find justice, hope and friendship when all seems lost. 

How to Lose Friends and Alienate People – 9.00pm, More4

Simon Pegg stars as an aspiring journalist who gets a job in New York and finds himself completely out of his depth. An adaptation of Toby Young’s autobiographical novel of the same name.  

My Best Friend’s Wedding – 10.00pm, Watch

Julia Roberts is Julianne Potter, a woman who realises she is in love with her best friend only days before his wedding. A classic romantic comedy.

Die Another Day – 10.35pm, ITV1

In Pierce Brosnan’s final Bond movie he stars alongside Halle Berry. Bond finds himself captured in North Korea. Appearance and soundtrack by Madonna.

A History of Violence – 11.05pm, Film4

Tom Stall’s small-town life is disrupted by his own heroic actions which bring him more problems than he could have anticipated. 

Lymelife – 12.55am, BBC2


Comedy about a family trying to cope with the pressures of everyday life, coupled with an outbreak of Lyme disease.
