Doctor Who The Predator of the Daleks – more questions and a glimpse of the Special Weapons Dalek

Ahead of the Doctor Who series seven opening episode, we’ve been asking ourselves exactly what is The Asylum of the Daleks? Well this new 40-second trailer doesn’t answer that question, but it does raise a new one – what is the Predator of the Daleks?

“The Asylum must be cleansed. The Predator of the Daleks will be deployed.”

It’s a Dalek voice uttering those words, before the Doctor says “I’m not a predator, I’m just a man with a plan.”

There’s also a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it glimpse of the legendary Special Weapons Dalek, which we know could take out your average Dalek without too much effort.

All in all it makes that final question just a little bit harder to answer: “Who killed all the Daleks?”
