Coronation Street spoilers: boss Stuart Blackburn on Ken’s return, Tina’s exit and upcoming plots

The ITV soap's producer also admits to feeling "really guilty" about being responsible for killing off both Hayley Cropper and Tina McIntyre

Coronation Street producer Stuart Blackburn has spoken to about Michelle Keegan’s forthcoming exit, describing Tina’s murder as “a massive gamble”. The boss of the ITV soap also admitted that had Keegan decided to just take a year’s break, then “this storyline probably wouldn’t have happened”. 


In a video chat about upcoming plotlines, Blackburn also gave details about the return of William Roache, promising that Tina’s murder will have a massive effect on the Barlow family: “Ken’s going to come back into a real whirlwind. Deirdre’s stressed to heaven. Tracy is, well, Tracy. And Eccles is the only sane one there. So Ken is going to have a lot to deal with.”
