Viewers of Strictly Come Dancing were blown away by Jonnie Peacock, the paralympic athlete who became the first person with a disability to compete in the dancing competition, after he danced an impressive jive while wearing a blade prosthetic with partner Oti Mabusi on last night’s show.

The two-time paralympic gold medalist strutted his stuff, rather fittingly, to Chuck Berry’s Jonny B. Goode. Check out the performance below.

Fans took to Twitter to share their delight after the inspirational performance.

The performance landed Peacock and Mabuse the number 4 spot in the Strictly leaderboard after week 2. The duo are quickly gathering support online as #TeamGlitterblade – could they be potential winners in the making?

The Strictly results show airs on Sunday 1st October at 7.15pm on BBC1. Strictly Come Dancing returns at 6.35pm on Saturday 7th October
