EastEnders star Davood Ghadami is no stranger to taking his shirt off – in fact, he’s already paraded his six pack around Albert Square. But Strictly Come Dancing viewers may have to pick up the phone and vote if they want him to go topless.
“I’ve decided that I’m going to release a button on every week that I get voted through,” he tells RadioTimes.com.
But he jokes: “I’m going to have to put a lot of buttons in!”
Still, the soap actor is a big fan of the Strictly outfits.
“I’m loving it,” he admits. “I was comparing rhinestones with the other lads in the lift the other day.”
Unfortunately, he was disappointed to find he wasn’t as sparkly as the other Strictly blokes: “I was a little bit put out by it.”
He explains: “I was comparing me, Jonnie [Peacock] and Joe [McFadden], and I looked to them both, and Jonnie had this really nice multi-coloured thing going on, and Joe had them all down his back, and I was a little bit jealous.
“And then I realised I’m really getting into this now. I’m worrying myself about how I feel about just the clothes! So you wait till we get dancing.”
Ghadami adds: “More stones, more glittery, spray tans, everything. I want to do it all.”
