Love Island’s “Muggy” Mike Thalassitis in talks to do I’m a Celebrity

The Cypriot could make his reality TV return in the Australian jungle

Love Island’s “Muggy” Mike Thalassis may be making his return to reality TV sooner rather than later, with reports swirling that the star is in talks to join I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! when it returns in November.

Mike was a memorable part of ITV2’s breakout summer reality hit, earning his nickname courtesy of fellow contestant Chris Hughes as the two battled for the affections of Chris’s now girlfriend Olivia Attwood.

The 24-year-old English-born Cypriot footballer made not one, but two appearances in the Love Island villa, returning – to mixed reactions from viewers – after being voted out, to cause yet more problems for Chris and Olivia.

Mike is in “early talks” according to The Sun, but love him or hate him, Love Island fans suffering from withdrawal will no doubt be hoping to see one of the villa stars returning to their nightly reality fix.
