When is Celebrity Big Brother back on TV?

With Love Island over, there’s a reality TV shaped hole in our lives. Enter Celebrity Big Brother. Here’s everything you need to know about the new series...

The endless cycle of Big Brother continues on Channel 5 next week. Days after the civilian version draws to a close on 28th July a new bunch of celebs will be making their way into the house. Who will follow Coleen Nolan as this season’s CBB winner?

When is it on?

Celebrity Big Brother starts Tuesday 1st August at 9pm on Channel 5.

Who’s presenting?

Emma Willis will once again be fronting launch night whilse the man with the whitest teeth on TV, Rylan, will be hosting the spin-off show – Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.

Who should I look out for?

Rumours of who will be entering the CBB house on 1st August are swirling round the tabloids. This new series has been described as ‘Summer of Legends’ by Channel 5 but expect it to be legends in the very loosest sense of the word. Top of the list at the moment are Ghost-hunter Derek Acorah, Eastenders actor Shaun Wiliamson and Gogglebox “star” Sandi Bogle.

What will the house be like?

The Big Brother team have only three days to transform Thorn Cottage into a retreat fit for the stars. At the moment the house is in a bit of a state with producers going for a more shabby than chic look for the regular Big Brother show – complete with graffiti on the walls. The inspiration for the celeb version is apparently five star hotel hang-outs. Very nice.
