Former EastEnders star Danielle Harold is to feature in this Saturday’s Casualty playing Georgie, a troubled schoolgirl who ends up needing medical attention from paramedic veteran Josh (Ian Bleasdale).
It’s the first time that Harold – who portrayed Lola Pearce in the Walford-set drama – has been seen on BBC1 since she left EastEnders in 2015.
The upcoming episode of Casualty is a standalone story that sees Elle’s careers’ talk at son Blake’s school fail to go to plan thanks to violence between rival gangs.
And EastEnders fans may well spot another familiar face among the guest cast: yes, that’s Harry Rafferty, one-time cohort of Liam Butcher injecting that same sense of menace, again playing a gang leader called Kane!
Could they be one and the same person? Is this an EastEnders/Casualty crossover?!
