Teen thug Josh will be attacked in next week’s Emmerdale – but will Dan find himself under suspicion of committing the crime?
As fans of the ITV soap know, Josh and his mate Jamie have been running wild in the village, pulling off a raid at the village shop and threatening Dan with a knife if he didn’t retract his police statement.
Now, it seems as though the tables have been turned, with Josh lying motionless on the cricket pavilion, blood seeping from his head thanks to a nasty wound.
In the run-up to the attack, Jacob will be seen trashing Josh and Jamie’s bikes after they bully him. Stepping in to defuse the situation, Dan takes responsibility and agrees to pay for the damage the next day, secretly having other plans in mind.
The next day, Ross overhears Jacob’s worries and suggests the solution could be violence – giving the youngster food for thought. Later on, Dan hides his anxiety about meeting the two boys at the cricket pavilion, but when he arrives, he sees a bloodied Josh lying unconscious.
Dan then dials 999 but suddenly ends the call, aware that someone is watching in the shadows. So, who attacked Josh and will Dan find himself facing some uncomfortable questions?
