Peter Kay’s Car Share has ramped it up a level with the guest stars. First the rock band Elbow’s frontman Guy Garvey popped up as a mechanic, and now Game of Thrones actor Conleth Hill is in episode two as a drunken smurfette hitting on poor designated driver John.

Better known for playing Varys on the HBO series Game of Thrones, Hill throws everything he has into playing Elsie, who has dressed up as a smurfette in blue body paint and a wig for an office work party.

John (Peter Kay) is forced to drive Elsie home alongside Kayleigh (Sian Gibson), but while his passengers are having a great time, John (dressed as Harry Potter) is a little peeved.

Things get worse when Elsie turns on Forever FM and sings along to the deeply annoying song, Loving You by Minnie Riperton (“Everything that I do is out of lovin’ you / La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la”). Elsie then flirts with him heavily, offers John a Pot Noodle, and makes him stop for a loo break.
