Who is your favourite TV mum?
It's Mother's Day on Sunday - so we're asking you to mark the occasion by picking the greatest mum in TV history...
It’s Mother’s Day this Sunday (you're welcome – there's still time to get down the petrol station for a bunch of daffs) and as the thoughts of many turn to their own dear mums, now is the time to consider the best matriarchs of the small screen.
It took a while whittling down a shortlist – many of our favourite TV characters are mothers.
But what we’re looking for is the matriarch’s matriarch – a character whose role as a mother is central to who she is and is what makes her great to watch.
From Marge Simpson to Peggy Mitchell, Mrs Brown to Cersei Lannister, it's time to salute these great characters and – if possible – pick a winner.
