The three daughters of Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin have been chosen by the Hollywood Free Press Association as Miss Golden Globe 2017.
According to tradition, this means that sisters Sophia, 20, Sistine, 18 and Scarlet Stallone, 14, will aid in presenting next year’s Golden Globe televised ceremony, and in handing out the trophies. The title, first presented in 1963, has traditionally been given to the offspring of a show business celebrity, such as Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx, and Kevin Bacon’s daughter Sosie Bacon. However, this marks the first time that three siblings have all received the Miss Golden Globe.
The Stallone sisters jointly said: “We’re thrilled to not only be part of the Golden Globe tradition, but to be making history as the first set of siblings ever chosen for the title and duties. We are proud to be part of the HFPA family, an organisation that multiple times has recognised our father’s work in film.”
The Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, takes place on 7th January 2017
