Coronation Street: Maria is charged with murder!

Will Aidan come to her rescue with a hotshot lawyer in tow?

Persecuted Maria Connor will find herself charged with murder in next week’s Coronation Street.

Maria – who is currently the victim of a revenge plot orchestrated by the deranged Caz Hammond – will be arrested in scenes to be shown on Monday 14 November.

Scissors smeared with Caz’s blood will be found by Johnny in the factory bin and then handed over to the investigating officers – an act that leads to Maria being placed in handcuffs.

But what the police don’t know is that Maria discovered the scissors in her hairdressing bag before Aidan Connor disposed of them among the Underworld refuse.

By Wednesday, Kirk will have tearfully revealed that Maria has been charged with murder – news that comes as a complete blow to a gutted Aidan who fears that he’s made things worse for Maria by failing to dispose of the scissors properly.

The week’s drama will end with Aidan wanting to fork out for a hotshot lawyer for Maria, but when Johnny asks if there’s anything between the two of them, might details of the pair’s forbidden night together be revealed at last?
