Hollyoaks: is Nico Blake really dead?

Has the maze fire claimed a victim?

Dramatic scenes just broadcast on E4’s first-look episode of Hollyoaks have seen Nico Blake apparently meet her maker – but is she actually dead?

A shock showdown saw a vengeful Cameron Campbell set fire to the fairground maze, knowing that Nico Blake was inside and wanting revenge on her for almost killing his daughter Peri.

However, he was unaware that Nico’s mum Sienna had followed her into the maze too!

As fans know, Sienna was released from prison this week after taking the blame for killing her father Patrick and was desperate to find the real murderer – Nico – before the police did.

Tonight’s tense cliffhanger saw Sienna find Nico in the closed maze and Warren realise she was trapped inside after the fire was started.

He then raced into the centre of the maze to find Sienna and Nico trapped underneath some fallen debris. However, despite Sienna’s pleas to save her daughter first, Warren rescued only Sienna.

The episode then ended with Warren pulling Sienna back from the inferno as the crows watched the maze collapse – with Nico still inside. But did she survive? It seems that Hollyoaks fans are in for a tense wait before the outcome is revealed tomorrow on E4 at 7pm…
