Top Gear host Chris Harris has bagged his own American car show

One Top Gear presenter is doing just fine

There’s a Top Gear presenter called Chris who is doing just fine after the first series, thank you very much.

But no, it’s not Evans.

Chris Harris on the other hand has already been picked up for a new US series, basically an upgrade of his YouTube series.

The presenter is expected to continue his work on Top Gear next year following Chris Evans’ announcement that he would be quitting the show.

Was Chris Evans’ attempt to kickstart Top Gear doomed from the start?

The main Top Gear team, including Matt LeBlanc, Sabine Schmitz, Rory Reid, Eddie Jordan and Harris, is currently set to continue without Evans when filming begins on series two in September.

Chris Harris on Cars, meanwhile, will air from Monday 11th July on BBC America, and is set to delve into a bit more detail of the “technical complexities” of some of the world’s best-known supercars.

“Profiling some of the most exciting cars on the planet and testing them on road and track, the series will cover cars such as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, McLaren 650S, Aston Martin GT12, Ferrari 458 GT, Ferrari 458 Spider, among many others,” according to info from the programmer makers.
