Coronation Street star Paula Lane promises that Kylie’s death will be “epic”

The actress promise that her character's demise is not to be missed

Exiting Coronation Street star Paula Lane has promised that the on-screen demise of her character Kylie Platt will make for unmissable television.

News broke at the weekend that Kylie will come to a sticky end in scenes to be shown later this month, although Corrie bosses are remaining tight lipped about the manner of her death.

Now, though, actress Lane taken to Twitter to assure distraught fans of the soap that the upcoming cliffhanger will be momentous.

ITV recently released images of David (Jack P Shepherd) saying a last goodbye to his wife as she lies in her coffin at the chapel of rest.

Corrie is promising “heart-wrenching moments” as David comes to terms with what has happened to Kylie.

The forthcoming storyline will see Kylie and David make plans to exit Weatherfield with their kids in order to finally put the past behind them.

With the late Tony Stewart having taking the rap for killing Callum, Kylie is feeling distinctly uncomfortable about an innocent man being blamed for a crime she herself committed.

Her solution is to leave Weatherfield behind, little suspecting that the Grim Reaper is coming for her…
