Scott’s Emmerdale star brother tells the Love Islander to “man up” and ditch Kady

Adam Thomas gives brother Scott his true thoughts on Kady and it's not good news...

Scott Thomas is literally getting some home truths on tonight’s Love Island as he receives a message from his Emmerdale star brother Adam who wants him to ditch Kady.

Adam Thomas will be known to telly fans for playing Donte Charles in the BBC drama Waterloo Road and Adam Barton in Emmerdale.

His message is pretty clear: “The only thing is, from the outside looking in, you need to man up,” Adam tells Scott adding: “Tell her to jog on.”

It comes after security was called after the pair rowed over what had or hadn’t been said on the show.

“On the outside, she’s playing games and treating you like a mug. Get with Tina and then the game could begin bro,” he continued, Scott having been on a date with new girl Tina in last night’s episode.

Despite the advice, Scott isn’t quick to dismiss what he has with Kady.

“I only fancy Kady though. Is she a proper d**khead then Adam?” he asks. “I’m confused. One minute she says she doesn’t like me, the next minute she’s crying and breaking down.”

Adam isn’t shy of revealing what’s been seen on screen: “She was going to pick that other guy [James] bro, then two other girls come in and she’s all over you.”

“She chose me though,” Scott tries to justify. But Adam’s not convinced.

“I think she chose you because she didn’t want to look like a dick,” he responds.

But Scott says he’s just not interested in Tina. “I don’t fancy her”.

“If you don’t fancy her, try and make it work with Kady,” Adam comforts. “I just think you need to put her in her place a little bit. Just be careful, tread carefully. I think she’s trying to manipulate you. From the outside, we’re so proud and we’re all rooting for you.”

Scott wastes no time relaying the advice to Kady, who insists she was never going to pick James.

“I’m sticking by you. He said you’re a nice girl but that you’re playing me. Don’t be playing me man,” Scott warns his beau before admitting to camera:

“I love the girl to bits. I’m not in love with her, but I think she’s amazing and I’ll stand by her. But if she ever treats me in any way muggy again – the first sign of it – it’s done.”

Meanwhile, Tom and Sophie finally get to go on a date together, Cara and Nathan get to spend the night together in the hideaway and the girls perform their own ‘Miss Love Island’ competition in a nod to former Miss GB Zara (she had to leave due to a family emergency), which sees Cara show off her fire breathing skills.

Never a dull moment, eh?

Love Island continues tonight at 9:00pm on ITV2
