Emmerdale: Marlon serves Pierce laxatives in his food – but which other villager gets poisoned?

The quality of the food in the Woolpack just isn't what it used to be - as one regular discovers

Marlon (Mark Charnock) is to wreak revenge on Pierce in an upcoming episode of Emmerdale when he stirs laxatives into his food at the Woolpack. But his machinations are set to backfire and put the pub’s future in jeopardy.

Marlon has taken against Pierce after discovering that he’s been seeing Rhona while her estranged husband Paddy is in Germany.

And next week’s episodes of the ITV soap see Marlon add some laxatives meant for April into some gravy meant for Pierce. But it’s another villager entirely who looks set to taste the doctored dish…

Yes, it’s Eric Pollard who ends up eating the concoction and is soon threatening Marlon with consequences should he discover that the pub gave him food poisoning.

Later on, Pierce confronts Marlon in the kitchen and is shocked when he realises that his food was meant to be spiked, but that Pollard was accidentally served it.

And things get worse when landlady Charity starts looking for answers. So will Pierce tell Pollard the truth about Marlon? Or will he prevent the pub from being sued?
