BGT crossbow act Ben Blaque is former America’s Got Talent contestant

Blaque's sharpshooting earned him a spot in AGT's 2012 quarterfinals

Crossbow performer Ben Blaque takes to the Britain’s Got Talent stage tonight and causes quite the flurry of excitement when he enlists the help of a certain Mr Simon Cowell. He’s blindfolded while shooting at the boss and while he can’t see, the performer certainly knows what he’s doing when it comes to auditioning for Got Talent, having been on the American version of the show before.

Blaque hails from Springfield, Missouri and in 2012 his routine earned him a spot in the AGT quarterfinals. He was eliminated, but then brought back by judge Howard Stern to be his Wild Card act. While Blaque’s efforts didn’t go on to bag him a win on the show’s seventh series, his website bio reveals he’s “especially proud” of his four America’s Got Talent performances.

Outside of Got Talent, Blaque has performed as part of the award-winning Kirby VanBurch magic show in Branson Missouri. He’s also showcased his act live in various countries, including Indonesia and France.

Here’s a sneak peek of his routine on tonight’s BGT:
