The team behind Deadpool want to do a Spider-man crossover

This could be amazing.

Contracts and licensing are superheroes’ true nemeses. They’re what stop Spider-man and Deadpool hanging out together, despite frequently doing so in the original Marvel comics. However, Spidey’s appearance in Captain America: Civil War might signal that the walls are coming down, and Deadpool wants to be first over the top.

“I would love to see it,” producer Simon Kinberg told Superhero Hype. “Both of us are close with [Marvel’s] Kevin [Feige], we respect and love Kevin. If it were even remotely possible, we will find a way ’cause we’d would love to see it.”

Even if the wall-crawler and the scum-sucker never get together, director Tim Miller hinted that Deadpool 2 might see a similarly big team-up.

“My favorite comic books in the old days used to be like DC vs Marvel, Teen Titans vs the X-Men or Teen Titans vs New Mutants. Justice League vs the Avengers. This could be something like that.”

That news calls for a superhero landing.
