Children’s author David Walliams has taken to Twitter to apologise to his fans after his post was stolen.


The Grandpa’s Great Escape writer wanted to let young fans know that if they’d penned him a note and hadn’t heard back it was because he hadn’t actually managed to read the letter.

Many replied to the author expressing their shock that someone would do such a nasty thing.
