Union J’s Jaymi Hensley could be in the early stages of discussions to head into the Celebrity Big Brother house, RadioTimes.com understands.
There’s already been a “mention” of the singer joining the line-up, the band’s manager told us, adding “I know he likes the show.
“If they [CBB] were interested, I’m sure he’d do it.”
He also made it clear that Union J’s commitment to recording new music would not necessarily stop Hensley from taking part in the reality show.
“Any show like that we’d try to make it work,” said his manager.
It’s easy to understand why. Former Union J member George Shelley – who parted ways with the band in March of this year – enjoyed big success on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year, placing second to champ Vicky Pattison.
However, the group’s manager stressed that right now Hensley and band mates JJ Hamblett and Josh Cuthbert are focussing on being in the studio to work on their new album. So while there have been a “few calls” about Hensley and the other lads doing reality shows, if it doesn’t happen this year, it could be that Hensley will consider waiting until 2017 to enter the famous house.
