Sarah Harding forced out of The Jump after injury

The Girls Aloud singer said she was "gutted" to leave the Channel 4 reality show

Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding has left Channel 4’s The Jump after injuring herself on the slopes.

Harding tweeted that she was “gutted” to have ruptured a ligament and be forced to hang up her ski boots.

This is the latest in an already lengthy list of injuries this series, with former Olympic swimmer Becky Adlington dislocating her shoulder ahead of the first show, former gymnastics pro Beth Tweddle needing major surgery on her neck and Joe Swash chipping a bone in his shoulder days after arriving.

Just a few days ago, rugby player and Strictly celeb Ben Cohen had to have 20 stitches in his face after crash landing – but that injury at least has not ruled him out of the competition.
