Mark Hamill still has no dialogue in Star Wars Episode VIII

Cameras have started rolling on the Force Awakens follow up but Luke Skywalker isn't speaking yet

Less than 24 hours after cameras officially started rolling on Star Wars Episode VIII, Mark Hamill’s been tweeting about what’s in store for Luke Skywalker in the follow up to The Force Awakens.

Fans of the film will know Luke only appeared in its final moments, with absolutely no dialogue.

And it seems as though Episode VIII hasn’t remedied that problem yet. In fact, Hamill says director Rian Johnson has more lines than he does.

Meanwhile, his co-star John Boyega is just SO excited to be back on set, fresh from his Rising Star Award win at this year’s Baftas.

And Daisy Ridley’s rather delighted to be back filming too, particularly with newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.

Roll on Episode VIII. You really can’t come to UK cinemas soon enough.
