Channel 4’s new series of The Jump is almost ready for lift-off, and the latest stars heading for the slopes can’t keep the secret any longer.
Westlife’s Brian McFadden, Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and Olympic sprinter Linford Christie are all ready to face the dreaded ski jump in 2016, with swimmer Becky Adlington and Made in Chelsea star Mark-Francis Vandelli also joining Channel 4’s winter sport reality show.
McFadden confirmed on Twitter that he would be joining The Jump in the new year, and an early Channel 4 trail has named him as one of the contestants.
While Made In Chelsea star Mark-Francis was one of the other celebs named in the Channel 4 trailer, along with gymnast Beth Tweddle – who we first heard was taking part just before Christmas.
Meanwhile, Olympic gold medallist and former GB sprinter Linford Christie is also speeding to the slopes according to his management company, who confirmed his place on the show via Twitter.
The new series is set to have an extra ‘reality’ element in 2016, with all the celebrities expected to live together as well as race each other on the slopes.
The Jump is set to return to Channel 4 in the new year, with a new set of celebrities aiming to follow in 2015 champion Joey Essex’s tracks.
