Coronation Street Christmas 2015 plotlines revealed!

Rob gets revenge, Tyrone proposes to Fiz and the Platts' nightmare worsens

Christmas on Coronation Street in 2015 will feature a romantic proposal of marriage, a family crisis and a blackmailing con from a very familiar face…

In the spotlight will be returnee Rob Donovan, who will manipulate both Tracy and Carla from the confines of his prison cell. Rob blames the two women for putting him behind bars in the first place and seeks revenge, first by leading Tracy to believe that they have a future together and then second by threatening to reveal a family secret that would blow the Connor clan apart.

So will Tracy risk everything she has with Robert, including the proposal she’s expecting on Christmas Day? And as Carla takes the bold step of proposing to Nick, will Rob’s scheme rock her world?

Over at No 9, Tyrone’s a man on a mission – he wants to bring Lapland to Weatherfield. He’s desperate for him and Fiz to give their daughters the best Christmas ever, despite Hope’s illness. But Tyrone is spiralling further into debt, and as Hope continues her treatment, he vows to let nothing get in the way of her dream of seeing Lapland.

Will Tyrone succeed in bringing the magic of Christmas to the street? And when he drops onto one knee in the snow, will Fiz accept his proposal and make it a Christmas to remember?

The Platt family continues to reel following Kylie’s killing of Callum during the soap’s recent live episode. And the festive season certainly won’t be joyous as a desperate David stops at nothing to keep his sister Sarah quiet and hold his family together. But staggered by his coldness, Kylie has begun to question their marriage, and with David now questioning her trust, can the couple reignite their relationship and find their Christmas spark?

Sally and Tim, meanwhile, are looking forward to spending their first Christmas together as a married couple, but when events conspire against them they’re forced to invite Kevin, Sophie, Anna and Faye to join them for dinner. As the festivities get underway and the wine flows it’s Anna and Kevin who find themselves under the mistletoe. Will the pair share a Christmas kiss?

And finally, Aidan takes a shine to Eva at the Underworld Christmas party, Caz turns up to surprise Kate on Christmas Day and could Mary be left lonely as the prospect of Brendan playing happy families with his wife becomes very real.
