I’m a Celebrity day 8: new campmate rumours, threesomes and a bored Lady C

Ant and Dec may have enjoyed themselves but Lady C is fed up of this whole jungle thing

Well oiks, Lady C is really rather bored of this jungle malarkey, dubbing the whole show “taaaahhhhsommme”.

Donning her trusty “barndarrrrner” for yet another Bushtucker Trial, Lady C seemed to be auditioning for grumpy Kiosk Keith’s job as she wrote off her I’m a Celeb experience as a total “bore”. In fact, had she not been using her hands to stick two fingers up at teasing hosts Ant and Dec, I think she would have been twiddling her thumbs as critter after critter was poured over her head.

“Darling, I have had real challenges in my life. This is not a challenge,” she trilled, merrily plopping out her boobs to rid herself of ants (the crawling kind, not the host – although he did get a good look). There was no screaming, no fuss, Lady C just gave a thumbs up (or rather, a finger) and got on with it. Nine stars bagged.

All credit to her. She’s a machine. But it’s not exactly the terrified mess of a campmate we’re looking for is it, dear I’m a Celeb viewers? No surprise really that frantic Ferne McCann has been voted in for the next one…

However, although she’s not screaming the jungle down, Lady C sure knows how to leave an impression. Having given Medic Bob a good ticking off for his “lack of efficiency” at getting bugs off of her (he’s probably still feeling glum), she set about planning a threesome with Ant and Dec. “A little cougar for dessert?” she teased, clearly having moved on from the days of not even knowing what bollocks are. Just mind she doesn’t bring her knife and fork, eh lads?

But it seemed the tone was set for the rest of the evening, as Vicky Pattison dubbed Duncan Bannatyne the hunk of the jungle. “DB… jungle sort”, she enthused, leaving the former Dragon unsure as to whether he should leap up and do his dance in celebration or play it cool. He settled for a John Travolta-esque smoothing of the barnet, which he was probably hoping no one would notice.

Now, as we trundle into the second week of camp life, it seems there may well be a new jungle dweller on the way. Either that or Vicky’s former Geordie Shore cast mate Gaz Beadle is just having fun winding up his fans on Twitter. He’s been detailing his journey out to Australia flight by flight, just days after Spencer Matthews left, even starting his own “gazinaustralia” hashtag.

Is he going into camp? Is he in Aus to appear as a guest on the ITV2 spin-off show? Does he just fancy a break Down Under? Watch this space.
