Tina Fey’s and Martin Freeman’s war on terror comedy movie gets release date

Fun House follows journalists reporting from Afghanistan and Pakistan

Tina Fey’s war on terror comedy, based on the memoirs of journalists Kim Barker, will be released on 4th March 2016, Paramount has announced. The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan followed Barker’s time reporting on ‘Operation Enduring Freedom’ between 2004 to 2009. 


Fey will play Barker herself, with Margot Robbie, Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman also among the cast. Lorne Michaels, a frequent collaborator with Fey since her time on Saturday Night Live, will serve as an executive producer.
