The shows with the most positive feedback will become the next Amazon Original Series. As well as six children’s shows, we’ve got “violent western” Edge; Good Girls Revolt, a 60s-set series about a group of young female news researchers who sparked a cultural revolution; Highston, a comedy about a 19-year-old who has a wide circle of imaginary celebrity friends; dark family drama One Mississippi; political thriller Patriot; and Z, a pilot based on the original flapper girl Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, starring Christina Ricci.

Nebraska

Starring Bruce Dern, June Squibb, Will Forte and Bob Odenkirk and directed by Alexander Payne, this arty monochrome movie was released to critical acclaim back in 2013. The film follows elderly Woody (Bruce Dern) and his son as they travel across the state to claim a million dollars Woody is convinced he has won in a publishing sweepstake.

Nebraska is available on Netflix from 14th November. It’s also available on Amazon Instant, iTunes and blinkbox

Ted 2

Mark Walhberg and his foul-mouthed stuffed toy are back for a second instalment. This time Ted must prove he’s actually a person in a court of law, or he can’t have children with new wife Brandy-Lin so they call in the services of a hot-shot lawyer, played by Amanda Seyfried.

Ted 2 is available on blinkbox and iTunes from 9th November

The Hangover Part II

You’d think these boys would never drink again after the events of The Hangover, but they clearly haven’t learnt their lesson. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha are back for more alcohol-fueled escapades in exotic Thailand.
