Tom Holland backflips and somersaults, proves he’s going to be an amazing Spider-Man

The British actor will follow in the web-slinging skyscraper-scaling footsteps of Andrew Garfield and it doesn't look like he'll have any problems...

With great power comes great responsibility and Tom Holland’s well and truly ready for it when it comes to playing Spider-Man.

The British actor has been displaying some seriously impressive Spidey skills online of late, proving he’ll have no trouble pulling off those skyscraper-scaling web-slinging stunts with acrobatic prowess.

Holland was showing off his skills on Instagram before his casting was announced back in June, but he’s really upped the ante since the news broke.

Fun times at the beach!!!!

The first reference to Spider-Man’s debut in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe came during Ant Man when a character made reference to having “guys who jump’, “guys who swing” and “guys who climb up walls.” He’s due to make his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War, before going on to front his own solo Spider-Man movie.

A trip down memory lane… Thanks mum for keeping this.

And he’s even got a spare Spidey suit. Y’know, just in case.
