Bond is back and the past continues to cast a dark shadow for Daniel Craig’s 007. Christoph Waltz is grumpy on an epic scale as the master villain whose turn it is to try and outfox him, but I don’t think we’re really worried about him succeeding, are we? The old formula is shaken and stirred, but this is rumoured to be Craig’s last outing as the dickie-bow-donning super-spy.
A bad case of growly voice, rolling eyes and projectile vomiting hints at the demonic possession of Olivia Taylor Dudley. Well, either that or avian flu, but who would make a film about that? Dougray Scott is the square-jawed clergyman who waves his crucifix in her face along with other trusted methods of exorcism. (He should wash his hands afterwards.)
