This might be one to avoid if you’re prone to paranoia.. .but even then, it’ll be worth a sleepless night. A tense and clever BBC1 drama starring Suranne Jones and Bertie Carvel, about a small-town GP who suspects her husband is having an affair.

The Walking Dead

The fourth series of the hugely popular post-apocalyptic drama is now available to stream on Amazon Prime. Rick and his band of survivors work to re-establish a measure of normality in their prison home…

Scream Queens

A comedy/horror US teenage drama in which a red devil masked killer terrorises a University sorority house. Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin and pop princess Ariana Grande star in this Mean Girls-style murder mystery. It’s just started on E4 but if you can’t wait for further slices, All4 is the place to go.
