David Tennant and Catherine Tate look adorably happy to be back together on Doctor Who

Ten and Donna can't wait to get back in the Tardis

It’s official: David Tennant and Catherine Tate will be teaming up in the Tardis again for a special new run of Doctor Who audio episodes.

Amazing news, right? But you know what makes it even better? Seeing just how happy they are about it…

The pair cackle through almost all of this new video interview from producers Big Finish, as they talk about exactly why they love working together so much.

Tennant starts them off when he says he “would bottle Catherine Tate” – her talent that is. Nothing to do with a glass round the head.

Then Tate’s put on the spot when she’s asked what makes David Tennant such a good Doctor. “Be as relaxed as you like in answering this question!” Tennant reassures her.

Tate scrabbles for an answer: “He is medically trained,” she finally says. “It’s hard to do it in front of him!”

And we thought Rose and Ten were made for each other.

“He’s incredibly professional, he does all his research, knows everything, can answer every question, and he is truly a remarkable and wonderful person,” Tate adds, trying to keep a straight face.

Yep, completely professional in this interview, David… we wouldn’t have it any other way.
