Red Oaks

This Is England ’90

This final instalment of Shane Meadows and Jack Thorne’s Channel 4 drama may be about the beginning of an era, but it’s also the end of one. The final episode of this gut-wrenching goodbye aired on Sunday, but you can still catch up on All 4.

Grey’s Anatomy

Meredith, Christina and co are returning to Amazon Prime this week. Rewind back to the very beginning when those familiar faces were interns at Seattle Grace Hospital. You know, before all the drama, heartbreak and awful, upsetting deaths.

What We Do In The Shadows

Love vampires? Love comedy? (Who doesn’t, eh?) This surreal mockumentary is for you. Starring Flight of the Conchords’ Jemaine Clement and Rhys Darby, What We Do In The Shadows follows four Vampire housemates as they try to cope with the complexities of modern life. It’s strange, but really very funny.

Have I Got News For You

Satirical news quiz Have I Got News For You returned to BBC1 this weekend for its 50th season. Regular team captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop were back – and they had a controversial guest host to kick off proceedings: Jeremy Clarkson, appearing on BBC1 for the first time since his high-profile dismissal from Top Gear earlier this year.

Tomorrowland

George Clooney and Britt Robertson star in Disney’s latest sci-fi spectacular. Robertson plays a girl who is given the keys to another dimension by inventor George Clooney. But rather than just enjoy the scenery, the pair must fathom its secrets to save our own world…

Jurassic World

The park is open, people. If you missed this fantasy blockbuster when it hit cinemas this summer, you can now get your Indominus rex fix on demand. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio and more star in this fourth dino-tastic outing. Isla Nublar is now a fully operational theme park, but it’s not as safe as it seems…

Ratatouille

Rats + kitchens = what’s not to love? This heart-warming Pixar tale, voiced by Ian Holm, Peter O’Toole and Patton Oswalt, comes to Netflix this week. It follows Remy, an ambitious young rat who dreams of becoming a chef…

Blue Jasmine

Cate Blanchett stars in this Woody Allen movie about a rich New York socialite who moves in with her sister in San Francisco when her life falls apart. It’s a captivating and engaging watch and Blanchett’s performance earned her the best actress Oscar in 2013.
