Look! It’s Claude Littner in The Apprentice boardroom with Lord Sugar

There's a lot of head shaking as the boss's new aide takes up Nick Hewer's seat in the BBC1 business contest

Check it out. Claude Littner is in the boardroom with Lord Sugar and Karren Brady in this first look at the new Apprentice series.

He looks very serious, right? Well, we expected nothing less to be honest.

There’s a lot of head shaking from the new aide and his boss in the boardroom, their looks of disdain set to the tune of Destiny Child’s Survivor.

Littner, the newest member of the Apprentice ‘squad’, has known Lord Sugar for more than 25 years, having been a director of the Apprentice star’s founding company Amstrad, plus IT company Viglen and football club Tottenham Hotspur.

He replaces Nick Hewer who announced his departure in 2014, saying that year ten was the “appropriate time” to go.

Now in its eleventh series, this first tease promises the toughest contest yet. And judging by Littner’s stare, it looks like it just might well be…

The Apprentice returns to BBC later this year
