“I’m gonna go do Doctor Strange, kind of a psychedelic Marvel comic, with Benedict Cumberbatch,” she told The Wrap while at the Toronto Film Festival.
She continued: “Cumberbatch!”
The True Detective actress “didn’t know” if she could say anything about her role, and so didn’t.
However, we already know Tilda Swinton will play The Ancient One, Doctor Strange’s mentor, and Chiwetel Ejiofor will play the villainous Baron Mordo, so we’re guessing McAdams is some sort of love interest. Like, for instance, the white haired Clea, who becomes the Doc’s pupil and lover in the comics.

Right now, all we know for sure is that Rachel McAdams is going to be in Doctor Strange opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.
