Profession: Student and Events Organiser
Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I was born in Iran and I grew up in San Diego. I came to LA in eighth grade. I am a biology and psychology major, and I do event planning. I want to be an entrepreneur: I could not work for someone. I’m really extroverted, honest, respectful. I like to be optimistic.
What do you make of the relationships and fights that have happened on the show in the past?
I didn’t watch any of the previous shows. I wasn’t there, I wasn’t involved, so I don’t want to make any judgements about things that have happened in the past. I wanted to go into it fresh. As a psychology major at school, I think I really understand a lot of situations. I think, ‘They’re probably acting this way because of a, b and c’ rather than just jumping to conclusions and being upset with the way people are. I have a deeper understanding.
Who have you been hanging out with from London?
I’ve hung out with Jamie. We met while hiking on Runyon Canyon. I was not into him at all at first and wasn’t attracted to him at all. But he’s fun – he dishes to me and I dish it back. He’s fun and playful and that’s refreshing.
Why do you think Jamie has the reputation of a ladies’ man?
He goes intense with girls then backs off. Any time he feels it’s getting serious, he panics. Because that’s all he knows. It’s not his fault.
Are you hopeful of finding a serious boyfriend any time soon?
Yes. I’m a hopeless romantic. I love being in love. I am ready for a relationship, I’m in that kind of mindset.
What about the others – have you made any lasting friendships?
Lucy and I are really similar. We have similar morals and values and perspectives in life. I have so much respect for her. We had an instant bond.
If Lucy or Jamie invited you to London, would you come?
Steph and Alik both came over from the States. Oh my God, that would be amazing. I try not to think too hard about the future but I would do it in a second. I’ve never been to London but I would love to.
Made in Chelsea LA begins on Monday 10th August on Channel 4 at 9pm
