Coronation Street: Tracy’s guilt gets the better of her as Deirdre delivers a posthumous blow

Will she turn to ex-husband Robert as she struggles to deal with the aftermath of the fire and her mother's death?

Since mum Deirdre died Tracy’s been trying to turn over a new leaf but her grief is compounded by her guilt about the fire, which claimed Maddie’s life earlier this year.

And that guilt is proving too much for her to handle this week, as she hands a bemused Sophie £200 towards Maddie’s memorial.

Ken tells his distraught daughter to take the afternoon off work, but when she heads for the Bistro there’s trouble ahead.

Ex-husband Robert has something special for her, but Tracy’s less than impressed and storms out of the restaurant when he serves her an interesting dish.

The chef just about manages to win her round after Ken tells her never to throw a chance at love away.

But nothing’s ever that simple on the cobbles and, just when Tracy seems totally smitten, there’s a bit of bad news from beyond the grave: Deirdre’s left her £80k life insurance policy in a trust for Simon and Amy, much to her only daughter’s dismay.

Will the news break the already fragile Tracy? Or will she turn to Robert in her time of need?
