Proof that Jurassic World star Chris Pratt is seriously scared of dinosaurs

He might give a pretty composed performance as Velociraptor trainer Owen Grady but the actor failed to keep his cool when YouTubers SA Wardega pranked him with two mechanical beasts

Chris Pratt gives an impressive performance as Velociraptor trainer Owen Grady in blockbuster Jurassic World. So much so that you’d be forgiven for thinking the 35-year-old actor wasn’t fazed by dinosaurs – hungry and roaring or otherwise.

But in real life? He’s clearly as scared of dinosaurs as the rest of us.

Faced with a couple of noisy robotic dinos in a recent prank, Pratt failed spectacularly to keep his cool. The actor let out a little squeak and jumped away from the robot before clutching his chest and sliding down the wall onto the floor. He jumped back up pretty quickly though, when another dinosaur came running towards him.

“Oh man. You mother****ers. They look great. What is this? Who are you?” he said to YouTubers SA Wardega, who pulled the elaborate prank, after gathering himself post-fright.

“You got me, man. That was good. You did a good job, you guys.”

The prank certainly made Pratt jump, but he actually got off pretty easy compared to some of the poor unsuspecting people SA Wargeda have targeted.

There’s the now infamous spider-dog, which Pratt mentioned in the video above.

Plus this Jurassic World video. Similar in that it features dinosaurs, different in that it also features bloodied organs, severed limbs and dark alleyways…
