For a lot of Brits Jeremy Piven is one man and one many only: Harry Selfridge. The charismatic American responsible for one of the grandest department stores on Oxford Street – and for keeping us entertained on many a Sunday night in front of the telly.
But the Mr Selfridge star is also known – in America at least – for his role in comedy Entourage. And seeing as the spin-off film is about to hit the big screen, we thought it was high time we learned a little more about the HBO comedy.
Luckily those helpful chaps over at Screen Junkies were thinking the exact same thing, and have produced a brutally honest trailer for the sitcom.
Apparently, Entourage is about five self-obsessed protagonists living in an unrealistic representation of LA, complete with an unending parade of celebrities playing themselves. It’s “the height of bro culture”, “like Sex and the City but with dudes.”
“A little bit is fun, but too much at once will make you want to punch somebody, puke, then get depressed and cry yourself to sleep,” says the trailer.
Well, at least we are now in the know…
Entourage is in UK cinemas 19th June
The complete box set, seasons 1-8, of Entourage is available exclusively on demand from Sky Box Sets
