President Snow’s power crumbles in new look at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

The future looks bleak for Panem's dictator in a new poster for the franchise's fourth and final outing

The future isn’t looking bright for Panem’s President, Coriolanus Snow. The all-powerful leader of the Capitol and its surrounding Districts is seen decapitated in a new poster for the film franchise’s final outing.

The latest glimpse of the Mockingjay – Part 2 isn’t as gruesome as it sounds, though. It’s a stone likeness of Snow which has lost its head, rather than the man himself.

But as the rebellion in the Districts, lead by our Mockingjay Katniss Everdeen, ramps up, it’s clear that everything is far from rosy (see what we did there) for the leader.

Mockingjay – Part 2, which hits cinemas later this year, sees Katniss confront Snow in a final showdown. The former victor of the Games will leave District 13 and head to the Capitol to stage an assassination attempt on the President.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 will be in UK cinemas 20th November
