New Girl’s Schmidt checks into American Horror Story’s Hotel
Max Greenfield is swapping the hit sitcom's loft for a (potentially short-lived) stay at Ryan Murphy's creepy Hotel

New Girl star Max Greenfield is swapping his cosy life in a loft with Zooey Deschanel and co for a spell in American Horror Story’s creepy and surreal universe.
The 34-year-old actor, who plays fan favourite Schmidt in the long-running Fox comedy, will appear in the franchise’s upcoming fifth outing, Hotel.
However, the future is already looking bleak for the new cast member. Showrunner Ryan Murphy tweeted earlier this week to say Greenfield would check in but never check out…
This October, Max Greenfield (like you’ve never seen him) is checking in to the hotel….but not checking out. #AHSHotel

Greenfield doesn’t seem concerned about his character’s fate, though.
Thank you @MrRPMurphy …..It’s ON! #AHSHotel https://t.co/41wufm2fns

American Horror Story: Hotel will see Ryan Murphy’s horror franchise up sticks and move to Los Angeles where the drama will unfold inside a hotel run by actress Kathy Bates. Little else is known but season five boasts an A-list cast. As well as AHS staple Bates, Greenfield will appear alongside Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Wes Bentley and Chloe Sevigne.
American Horror Story: Hotel follows on from Asylum, Freak Show, Murder House and Coven.
