What did you think of the Atlantis finale?

Fans say farewell to Jason, Hercules and Pythagoras as the BBC1 Saturday night show comes to an end - but what was your verdict on the mythical drama's conclusion?

Atlantis fans said a final fond farewell tonight to Jason, Hercules and Pythagoras in a bumper double bill of the fantasy drama.

At one point, the future looked bright for Atlantis – the first series was the BBC’s most successful Saturday night drama launch in seven years – but it was announced back in January that this would be the mythical tale’s last outing, with a BBC spokesperson telling us: “We are very proud of both series but to keep increasing the range of BBC1 drama we have to make difficult decisions to bring new shows through.”

There was much to resolve as BBC1 embarked on the extra-long final episode – and we want to know what YOU thought.

Was it what you expected? Did the finale tie up all those loose ends? Or are you less than impressed by how the curtain fell? Perhaps you think there’s more life left in the show and Atlantis shouldn’t have been cancelled by the BBC in the first place?
