Professor Brian Cox’s new BBC2 panel show Six Degrees will challenge a team of scientists to battle their way through the six degrees of separation that connect everything in our universe.
But you have to have a PhD (or better) to take part.
“There will be no celebrities on my panel,” Cox told a BBC2 showcase recently when talking about the new series, which is expected to air in the autumn.
“The reason I like that is that it drives the panelists to very high intellectual ideas. It’s an undumbdownable programme. The questions have to be so difficult that even experts can’t answer them… it’s going to be unintelligible.”
We think (or rather hope) he was joking about the last bit…
