Hair, the search for Britain’s best amateur stylist, is moving from BBC3 and replacing host Steve Jones with comedian Katherine Ryan.

Royal hairdresser Denise McAdam and international session stylist Alain Pichon will return to judge the ten ‘home hairdressers’ as they take on styling challenges in the show’s salon – as well as in real-life professional scenarios ranging from a pop up 1920s night to backstage at London fashion week.

The series was announced as part of a raft of commissions under new BBC2 controller Kim Shillinglaw.
